Manual Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments are drug-free, non-invasive manual movements applied to the joint.

Chiropractic is recognized as a safe, non-invasive modality that treats neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Chiropractic adjustments can help treat symptoms relating to the neck and spine, as well as ailments related to other joints such as the wrist, ankle, knee, and shoulder.

Activator

The activator method provides gentle adjustments to the spine through more precise and accurate adjustments.

The activator is a spring-loaded, hand-held instrument that allows manipulation of the joints with less force and more precision. The activator method may be used on patients with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease or any other severe ailments and injuries.

Kinesiology Tape (KT Tape)

Kinesiology tape helps alleviate pain while supporting muscles and joints.

KT Tape is not like the regular white tape that we’ve seen time and time again. KT Tape is used for structure, support, AND mobility. Kinesiology tape has a flexible and stretchy material that allows your body to be supported while still allowing for movement, helping you to heal faster.

Kinesiology tape can be used for sprained ankles, knee and shoulder pain, strained tendons and muscles, carpal tunnel, and more.

Electrical Stimulation (E-Stim)

Electrical Stimulation (e-stim) is a type of physical therapy that sends gentle electrical pulses into the body to help accelerate healing and promote muscle relaxation.

E-stim can help relieve muscle tension and promote muscular healing. E-stem can also improve blood circulation in areas of pain to decrease pain and swelling.

Manual Therapy

Trigger points can be the cause of pain and tingling in different areas and joints of the body.

Trigger point therapy helps to decrease tension in the muscles and the body. Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) helps break down myofascial restrictions through specifically designed instruments. Myofascial restrictions can be caused by everyday lifestyle choices such as exercising, sitting or standing for long periods, and even previous injuries.

Sports Physical

The sports physical is also known as a pre-participation physical evaluation (PPE) which is required by most schools or employers to ensure you are able to participate in physical activities.

This involves a sports history and physical exam to evaluate if it's safe for you to participate in your sport.

Diet and Nutrition Counseling

Diet and nutritional counseling are done in the office after a consultation with Dr. Julie to discuss what would be best for your unique needs.

Prenatal and Infant Care

Pregnancy is a great time to get adjusted. Chiropractic has been shown to improve birth outcomes, reduce the need for medical intervention, shorten labor times, ease discomfort & nausea, and provide optimal baby positioning.

The first trauma we go through, is birth. It’s safe for babies to be adjusted within the first few days of birth. They are gentle, non-invasive adjustments that help restore the nervous system, allowing the body to heal. Chiropractic can help improve colic, digestion, sleep, and nursing.

“Chiropractors are the highest-rated healthcare practitioner for low-back pain treatments above physical therapists (PTs), specialist physician/MD (i.e., neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons), and primary care physician/MD (i.e., family or internal medicine).”
