  • Your first visit may take up to 20 minutes. Please arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment if you still need to fill out your first visit paperwork.

  • It's recognized as one of the safest nondrug, noninvasive forms of health care available for treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. While it has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small.

    Many patients feel immediate relief following treatment, but some may experience mild soreness or stiffness, just as they do after some forms of exercise. Research shows that this typically fades within 24 hours.

  • Absolutely, getting adjusted while pregnant can actually benefit you and your baby. Chiropractic has been shown to improve birth outcomes, reduce the need for medical intervention, shorten labor times, ease discomfort & nausea, and provide optimal baby positioning.

    Dr. Julie is Webster Certified, meaning that she has gone through additional educational training for prenatal patients. Not all chiropractors are trained in the Webster Technique.

  • Yes! Children of all ages can benefit from chiropractic care! Kids are very active & experience many falls and injuries from activities of daily living as well as from participating in sports.

    Injuries may cause many symptoms including back and neck pain, stiffness, soreness or discomfort. children get adjusted? Chiropractic care is always adapted to the individual patient. Adjustments for children are very gentle.

    It's a great idea to get adjusted after you have had or have been recommended for back surgery.

    Unfortunately, disc surgeries of the spine have a failure rate greater than 70% with 10% of those patients reporting worsening of symptoms after surgical intervention.

  • No. By not taking insurance, Dr. Julie is able to care for you without the limitations set by insurance companies. In general, insurance companies are not focused on any preventative or wellness services like chiropractic.

    However, Dr. Julie accepts HSA and FSA forms of payment in the office. If you have chiropractic coverage, Dr. Julie will gladly provide you with the necessary documentation to get reimbursed if you’re willing to file yourself.
